Any small sales organization, it's ideal. Best on market, without a doubt (I've tried them all so I should know). It's pretty seamless when it comes to managing and chasing your database. Can't express how hard this is to get right, and Salesmate has!

  • For each client, it tracks emails, text messages, activities, files, calendar events, phone calls, to-do items.
  • Customization is quite good -- you add fields you need. Like was discovery received, full payment, partial payment, etc. You can later run reports.
  • Integration with other apps is good; I use QuickBooks and DocuSign.
  • Customer service is very good.

  • Automatic Updates - Notifications when updates are made to projects helps all parties stay on task and understand where each project stands in terms of completion.
  • Flexibility and Customization - We have been successful in customizing the different fields in vTiger to match our specific needs, whether in the sales section, tickets section, and projects section.
  • Reporting - The ability to create customized reports is great and very useful to management to understand areas that may need attention.
  • Support - If you have a question, the vTiger support team is outstanding in terms of responses and ensuring that your issues is resolved. In addition, they are frequently releasing updates and upgrades to the product.

  • The search feature can be buggy and does not allow for highlighted text to be typed on. You must clear the box or hit backspace before typing. The only app in my life that does this.
  • The dashboard button is pointless if it still makes you choose between legacy or classic.

  • Though you can create reports however you want, they may need to come out in multiple files. I wish this could be aggregated.
  • It's still very simple. There is room for improvement with the setup of the admin panel.
  • The dropdowns function funny when scrolled down. It's picky but it's frustrating.
  • The search function could be improved.

Really solid UX both for sales representatives, and management. Very intuitive and easy to get used to. Our sales reps have had a bit of a learning curve with this, but that's also due to the level of customization we implemented specific to our business. Once trained, the system will allow you to track pretty much anything natively...from calls, to times on calls, appointments, agreements...you name it, it can be tracked if setup correctly. As the implementor of the software, the support team have been invaluable in their assistance and are never too far away

This is where Salesmate, in my opinion, is most lacking. With other CRMs, I have been able to chat directly to the tech team, but with Salesmate it appears you have to go through customer service first, which honestly doesn't cut it. In fairness, Salesmate's online guides are very helpful and are usually sufficient to help you get the simple things done. However, as soon as you have a question of any complexity, getting customer service to understand the issue and help out has been like pulling teeth. I have experienced this half a dozen times. One example of this was when trying to migrate from our previous CRM. I had an issue migrating custom fields and notes from our old CRM. Only by the third support agent was I advised that what I was trying to do was not possible. Even then, the solution provided was initially incorrect, and even when I found the solution, it effectively meant me having to import our database 10 times (as each import could only take 1 note at a time). In the end, I had to manually import our database around 30 times before getting it right, costing our company many hours of lost time. We have now saved far more time than this using Salesmate, but that was one frustrating day!Overall I would advise using Salesmate only if you have a fairly simple CRM use case, or you are technologically capable to ride through the issues when trying to do something complex.

It is as good as you could expect for a company that operates from another continent. Emails are quickly responded to and do not usually require additional questions or answers. It is quite rare for a company of their size to be as responsive as they are and that makes them a sound choice to deal with.

Salesmate

Every call, chat and email creates a support ticket which is usually 24-48 hours for a response. I accomplished more with Salesmate support than I did with a month of the entire Fresh Works Suite. Also - all components are separate with Freshworks i.e. contacts to not sync between fresh caller, fresh desk, fresh sales and fresh everything. I could go on and on, but I have also tried Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and many others.
Sales.mate is the BEST, I love them! Seriously.

The selection of Vtiger as CRM wasn't on my hands. The decision was made before I arrived to the company. Nevertheless, I know that the pricing was one of the main reasons and the overall performance of Vtiger. It was feature on the top of Gartner's Magic Quadrant. And the reviews were very helpful

  • It saved me so much time following up with leads. I move them to the next stage, and Salesmate does the rest.
  • It does a whole load of outreach for me. It's seamless.
