Chose Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams
Skype still has its own place when it comes to the chatting apps competition. Its integration with Microsoft and other tools like Outlook makes it very intuitive and easy to use. I like the "show status" a lot too and it tells me whether a person is busy or available for …
Chose Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams
Actually, Skype for Business is the worst of those 4 other products [that] I´ve evaluated - that´s why it´s our 2nd o 3rd choice when we need to choose a product.
Chose Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams
Given an option I would prefer Teams over Skype for Business (formerly Lync), but Skype for Business (formerly Lync) over Blackboard Collaborate. Teams has more options for collaboration. Skype for Business (formerly Lync) works well with quick communication and brief remote …
Chose Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams
Skype for Business is a bit more user-friendly to use than BlueJeans. BlueJeans is great, but I've had connection issues in the past, whereas I haven't had any problems with connections on Skype. I use both programs for different companies, and I'd say Skype if my go-to …
By using Webex Calling, it's not only the call facility that I can get. I also get feature messages, events, and many applications that can be integrated with Webex meetings. And what I know is that Zoom is only useful for holding meetings. There is no OBTP (one button to push) …
Webex Calling gives you the opportunity to run calls, meetings and training safely and securely, I would say teams is more of an everyday collaboration space for colleagues and business to share information and updates without the requirement to jump on a call everyday which is …
Some of the other products I've used may have a little advantage in a
specific feature or platform, or cost, but no other product achieves the
quality level and has a complete portfolio of solutions as Cisco.
Much easier to manage users and deploy systems and numbers through the Webex control hub. The ease of contacting someone in another organization is also much simpler and easier to achieve in the Webex solution, over Microsoft Teams. The connection to the PSTN network in Webex …
These are all very similar products. But in the end since we were using Webex Meetings and some Teams usage we have already kind of bought into the Cisco dream and suite of products so it just made sense. These other products are good but Webex Calling was above the rest …
Teams and Skype are great products, but the company decided to go with Cisco Webex Calling because of its easy to use interface and most of its features (which other products have as well).
Neither of the alternatives had the support, security, quality, and infrastructure that our business requires. As Cisco Collaboration is already widely used internally, Webex Calling was the best option for us.
The main reason for choosing Cisco over any other product was because of the confidentiality they provide. We knew that with trusting our information with Cisco that they had the resources to keep it safe and secure.
Honestly, I prefer Webex over Skype calling. In my experience, the Skype calls have significant issues with joining/maintaining connections between meeting members. Additionally, the feature set of Skype can be clunky and hard to use. The only real positive of Skype over …
