Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Client selected it due to how they used it, pricing, and what it could do for them. It's about the same as these other tools but UsabilityHub let's you run multiple types of task in one test, and UserTesting still has a bigger panel I think

Love the virtual observation room, no one else has this feature. It's got a robust panel, but we wanted to try it out to compare with UserTesting's panel. Userlytics has a substantially smaller panel. Lastly, it's got quantitative tools that the competitors don't have, or didn't when we were reevaluating our contract. Also, UserTesting changed our contract model so that's why we reevaluated our contract. We gained some tools, but we didn't sign anything long term, so we are still evaluating how well it fits our needs.

On several occasions, the participants claimed that TryMyUI was extremely laggy towards the end of the sessions, and got frustrated. We have trialed UserTesting and decided to make the switch. Our team especially like the variety of templates on the platform targetting various needs such as preference test, web/app usability, short tests, etc.

Because the user experience overall is really good, it lets you do things that others don't like to chat with the observers/note-taker without letting the interviewees know. It lets you spotlight important parts on the spot so you can easily find those moments even days after doing the interview.

Whilst we got good value from UserZoom, we have since trialed UserTesting and have since switched away from UserZoom. In comparison, UserZoom [was] more expensive and had fewer features for collecting and analysing qualitative research.

I found UserZoom to be easier to use than Cisco Webex Meetings, and more intuitive and pretty comparable to GoToMeeting. UserTesting has a few extra features that we like as mentioned, but I think [UserZoom] is a very solid tool and would recommend and use again.

I have used quite a few UI testing platforms and have found that UserZoom performs relatively well compared to them all. Each testing platform has its own unique strengths and weaknesses. However, UserZoom is probably the platform with the broadest scope and range of testing options at scale. While I would recommend the platform for its variability, I would definitely recommend they continue expanding and improving their own UI experience in order to keep up with platforms like UserTesting an WalkMe.

Most comparative products that we've used/seen are in-house developed tools, data scientist-based research with a few other tools used in the process such as Validately. UserZoom is a nearly perfect tool as results are real-time, authentic and can capture real-experience results at scale. The increase in pricing came when so few purpose-built alternatives followed suit.

  • Loop 11
Loop 11 has no logic, so every user sees every question. This makes the surveys clunky and confuses the panelists, who have to decide whether they need to answer a certain question that doesn't seem appropriate. Additionally, Loop 11 conflicts with certain websites and the data capturing doesn't work. It's also very difficult to find bad results in Loop 11 and remove them from the data set, last I checked you had to click through panelists one by one to see their results and then remove them. Overall reporting is also very limited in Loop 11 in comparison.
