Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise has been our go-to accounting solution for 15+ years. Originally used for invoicing, quoting, and basic reporting we now use it for Job cost tracking, Time & Material billing, payroll, and financials. We have approx 6 daily users and share the file without issues. The reports we generate include payroll, job costing, Balance sheet checking, and government remittances.
- Invocing
- Payroll
- Customer Reporting
- Vendor Reporting
- Bill payments
- Progress Billing without all the details from the original quote.
- Adding verbiage to quotes/invoices that does not occupy a line in the quote/invoice.
- Costing setup.
- Ability to report and track invoice payments and balances.
- Ease of payroll processing.
- Costs too much.
The setup and training for Quickbooks has been relatively seamless. With multiple users, change in users, and for different applications; the ability to explain, show to use and correct errors for new users has been well received. Enterprise, once basic info is set up, is easy to use in about an hour.
The construction industry always has new project management tools, technology to improve profitability and expense calculation. This product has been able to service our needs as a small contractor with payroll for the last 15 years. We have benefitted by using the payroll features, remittance calculations, and reports for Government regulations and financial obligations.
The payroll features are far from none on QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. The lack of such features on Desktop Pro leave one posting their own remittance calculations, doing the reporting, and maintaining a database for such.
