Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use 8x8 for our small insurance office. We have multiple agents and 8x8 allows us to handle our phone calls throughout the office or when we are on the go. Voicemail is very simple to set up and monitor with visual monitoring and email alerts. Sending faxes from our desktop is a must and 8x8 makes it very simple.

Pros and Cons

Simplifies the faxing process right on the desktop and puts a history at my fingertips.
Phone calls are always crystal clear.
Visual voicemail is a timesaver. It allows me to stay on top of missed calls easily.

I am not familiar with 8x8 messaging, but we need a desktop SMS app to send messages direct to our clients.
Group SMS messaging capability would be useful.

8x8 meets and exceeds our needs for a small office. There are a lot of functions that I would like to research to help automate and expand the way we communicate with our clients, especially in the current times where meeting face to face is not always an option.

With my experiences in a small office, we have found the 8x8 X Series phone system very well suited to have calls routed in the office as well as forwarded to cell phones for on-the-go calls. It would be helpful to have to automate changes in the way the phones work after a certain time or weekends (i.e. by forwarding calls after 6 pm to a different number).
