Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign is used by just myself for now, but as we grow it will be implemented with multiple users including the sales, billing, and other account management and customer engagement parts of the company.

It helps us to be able to easily organize our potential customers and current customers while visualizing progress of potential customers through the sales/onboarding process. It makes individualized engagement much easier and automated.

Full disclosure, I have been offered an incentive for writing this review, but I would give the same review regardless, since I have really liked ActiveCampaign.
  • ActiveCampaign is good at improving their platform to fit a lot of situations
  • They are good at automation
  • They provide many of the tools you would need in a CRM
  • Their API is really useful for integrating into websites and applications
  • It would be nice if they added sorting the contacts list by business name or individual name
  • Although I understand that they likely use the email to create unique records for contacts, it is annoying trying to create a contact for whom we don't currently have the email. We end up entering some variation of our noreply email, like noreply23@etc.com
  • It saves us time on a lot of things which are repetitive and time consuming
  • It helps us to more easily organize and visualize our potential customers' journey
  • It saves money in labor
HubSpot has a little more modern look, but ActiveCampaign is a bit more intuitive in my opinion. Automation and organization is a bit easier within ActiveCampaign. Hubspot has more compartmentalized products which could be beneficial for organizations which only need certain features, but ActiveCampaign is overall a better fit for small and medium companies, since they often need a lot of the features included with Active Campaign.

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

Yes

Since we are a small business, we still haven't tapped all the potential of ActiveCampaign. But I would say they are a great fit for any company, regardless of size. However, I can confirm it is especially useful for small to medium sized companies.

It is really useful for companies looking to automate a fair amount of their customer engagement while not sacrificing a lot of the personal touch.
