Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use AA mainly for editing pdfs and filling in forms. That is in addition to the usual reading pdf documents which we also do with non-pro users. Those are the main uses of AA in our organization but there may be a few others that I havent thought of at this time.
  • displaying pdf documents
  • filling in forms
  • sometimes editing pdf documents is easy
  • sometimes editing pdf documents is difficult
  • bugs and other quirks that cause Acrobat to not work
  • sometimes signing pdf documents is not easy because the signatures are not clearly available
  • filling in forms
  • signing documents
  • editing documents
  • Ease of Use
its the only game in town, meaning that there is no other obvious competing product or the others are not as well known; otherwise there would be more opportunities to select a different product than Adobe Acrobat; this makes the software a bit of a monopoly and thats not good for innovation
  • increased productivity
  • improved compliance
  • improved security
AA is a close competitor to DocuSign but different use cases; the latter is more for workflow situations

well suited for viewing pdf documents and filling in forms
not so good at editing and signing
needs improvement in the editing and signing aspects
also sometimes bugs or quirks with the software make it difficult or impossible to use; for example if a pending update is available the software may just not respond or crash
