Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Campaign

We use Adobe Campaign Standard for ad hoc email campaigns and segmenting the right audience. We also use it for always-on flows with reaching the right audience. Moreover, we use Adobe Campaign Analytics for evaluating campaign performance during and after campaigns. We create between 2-5 email campaigns per week for one client with approximately 50-250,000 e-mail receivers. So this products has a real business impact. If we were to send out emails for this large audience, we would not be able to reach them with 1-1 emails. Moreover, the company is highly complex, so we need the ability to make advanced segmentation and this solves Adobe Campaign Standard easily for us.

Pros

  • Advanced segmentation
  • Structured folder structure
  • Works well for big companies
  • Reliable technology

Cons

  • Complex segmentation for large companies demands documentation on segmentation triggers, because they are not always easy to understand
  • Sometimes it is difficult to login to Adobe Campaign
  • Too many options makes it difficult for beginners
  • One email campaign generated 624 orders
  • One lead generation campaign generated 124 leads
  • Higher return on investment year on year
Adobe Campaign Standard has a lot of segmentation options out of the box and a lot better analytics. Pardot is a lot more listbased, where with Adobe Campaign, you can do complete customized segmentation, such as all permissions in base A who are currently customers of this specific product, or has not been active for the past 3 months.

This is really useful software for sending emails and making the right segmentation. We can mold the data for great campaigns with A/B testing, and audience creation, and make smart send-outs with great impact on the business. It works seamlessly for our business with 270,000 permissions between B2B and B2C segment.
I never contacted Adobe Campaign Support, but looking for answers to frequently asked questions I tried to Google. I was looking for a community like Salesforce, but I have been unable to find a community for this specific product.
When creating a long-running campaign or always-on campaign, the system works really well. An example of this is when we created a lead generation campaign, the leads came into the system effortlessly and the leads received the emails in the campaign on the time we scheduled. Also when exporting a file, we were able to add several elements, such as phone number, address, account number to the list and export it. That was very helpful that we could module the list when the elements that we needed for that export.
