Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Sign

Adobe Sign is used across the organization primarily for digitally signing various kinds of contracts, documents, SOWs, offer letters, etc. It saves a lot of money as there is no need to print out and scan the documents and also in terms of the manhours it saves. Now, it only takes a click to sign the documents. One can simply edit and fill the document or form from any device and sign using the signature image or type name in various fonts or actually draw the signature. It has made sending the documents for signatures hassle-free. One can also track the progress in terms of when and how many times it was accessed, when was it signed, and also sends auto-reminders in case the document is pending to be signed. This has been a boon in the post-COVID-19 era as everyone is working remotely and [would] hamper the business processes if documents could not be signed digitally from any device with complete security.
  • It has the ability to share the same document [with] multiple people and assigns a different color to each signature placeholder for different recipients in order to avoid confusion and errors.
  • It also allows people in India to sign the documents using their UID number, which is [a] very unique and forward-looking feature.
  • [It provides the] ability to sign scanned documents [that] have not been digitally created. Also, one can sign word documents using Adobe Sign.
  • [It also provides the] ability to use your own organization branding wherever possible in order to personalize the entire signing experience.
  • [In my opinion, the] pricing structure is a bit bizarre and almost all the plans require [an] annual commitment, which [I believe] shouldn't be the case.
  • [In my experience,] customer support is slow in responding to the issues and not of much help. So [I think the] troubleshooting and self-help videos and content need to be more comprehensive.
  • [In my experience, the] integrations with other software [are] limited, which restricts the workflow automation.
  • Most of the processes which required stakeholder's signatures have become way more efficient as turnaround time has gone down drastically. Also since multiple people are able to sign the same document in parallel, it improves the efficiency even further.
  • Employees' happiness index is up in general as they can now focus on their core competencies rather than spending time on trite tasks.
  • Our hiring has become much more streamlined, which has led us to quickly backfill resources without location constraints, and since we have been working remotely, we have been able to hire people with much ease across continents. Since the signatures are legally compliant with local regulations of each country and we have all the audit trails available, we are able to virtually hire people [with] ease.
[Personally,] support is something I am not happy with. On a couple of instances, the software was not working as expected and [we] needed a quick response. The agreement had already been shared with stakeholders, but support was too slow in understanding the gravity of the situation [to] actually fix the issues. There is no live chat support option available. Also, I believe the self-help section needs to be improved in leaps and bounds so that when situations like the above [happen], one doesn't need to rely on the support and is able to troubleshoot on [their] own.
In terms of usability, I believe the interface is pretty intuitive and there is hardly any learning curve even for completely new users. It is used across functions within my organization and everyone is able to use it and benefit from it. Adobe Sign offers a clean signature process enabling the receiver to sign documents from any place and any device. Also, the signatures are legally binding as well.
[The] IT industry is one of the largest in the world, and since large organizations have a global presence, thousands of documents are signed on a daily basis. A lot of times the vendors and clients are based in other countries and I need to sign or send SOWs to commission the work to or from them. Also, most of the time these SOWs have to go through many requirements and scope changes due to the client's requirements before [they] can be finally signed. Adobe Sign has made my life easier by being easily able to fill the contracts and SOWs with the purchase order details and sign the documents with my digital signatures. Also, creating the SOWs is a piece of cake and [only] takes a few clicks to share the same with the relevant stakeholders. I can set the automated reminders and don't need to do it manually and, at any point in time, [I] can look at the status of all the documents right from my laptop or mobile app.

Adobe Sign has been generally more suited to either larger multi-national organizations or organizations spread across geographies. But, with the advent of Covid-19, where working remotely has been the new norm across the globe, Adobe Sign is imperative for every organization irrespective of size. Physical signatures are not feasible as a lot of employees might not have printers at home and no one wants to step out of the home. So unless money is not a concern, as the license fee is a bit expensive, I believe Adobe Sign is a necessary addition to the software suite of every organization.
