Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
This is being used by the HR department and serves as the company's HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Payroll system. It allows us to keep our data secure and manage compliance requirements.
Pros
- Stores data securely
- Offers customized reporting
- Offers a self-service function which allows employees to be accountable for their own data
- Allows connections with benefit carriers, which lends well to efficiency with processing
Cons
- Their customer support process is often cumbersome. We have been assigned a designated rep and that individual is not always available or responsive to emails or voice messages.
- Open enrollment consultants don't always follow through. We have had carrier connection files missed because processes were not completed.
- If there was more customization with time cards, that would make things administratively easy for us.
- This system is faster than our old system so we have been able to complete tasks quicker
- With this system, we have implemented carrier connections which has streamlined our benefit process and implemented for efficient processes
Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - We have not tracked the time savings, but with the carrier connections, we are no longer entering benefit data manually, which is a clear time saver. Time cards are now in ADP, which is used for our payroll processing. Our old software had two systems and they had to be linked, which didn't always carry-over correctly. ADP has saved our payroll administrator time of checking each time card.
- Abra
We used Abra prior to implementing ADP and these two systems are very different. ADP is cloud-based, so it can be accessed from anywhere there is an internet connection. This has provided the team with more flexibility to work form home and be productive. The system is also faster and generating reports and the reports are much easier to create and export.
