  • Managing your budget
  • When segmenting by race and by sex there are a lot of unknowns
  • Connecting the front end matrix to the back end matrix
  • Invalidating fraud clicks
  • Strength the brand represents
  • Reach potential customers I would have no way of getting to otherwise
  • Bringing in more sells and increasing the profitability of the company
You should never just one channel of marketing as each channel has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, AdWords does capture 80% of search volume.
If you are looking to advertise your product it can work for almost any type of business, however, for some keywords, the cost per click is just too high and competition might use that against you.

Google capitalizes around 80% of the search market, so if you want your consumers to see your product you must be there.
I would not as with Adwords there is no real alternative. I might allocate budget differently between other advertising sources.
