Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Looking for specific keywords across a variety of documents, both from companies and research brokers. Looking for specific tables or financial KPIs across several company documents across years and quarters. The AlphaSense solution essentially allows us to go a lot faster in terms of finding the information we need on companies and/or industries.

Usability

Very good and useful. The filters are somehow not very intuitive but still useful.

AlphaSense Market Intelligence

We do not use it to compare benchmark ourselves to other investment banks. We simply use it to feed our understanding of certain industries and specific companies.

It is best suited for pulling company KPIs and important qualitative information that a company may have disclosed in earnings calls, filings, etc. It is also very well suited for understanding how the street sees performance of an industry/getting consensus on individual company performances, as well as qualitative company background. It is not suited for industry research.
