BigCommerce review from a small retail company
Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
BigCommerce provides us with a B2C website for end-users to browse and purchase from. This also gives customers the chance to browse what is available in-store before committing to visiting us, and is an important feature. We have some local competitors which do not have this, and it is often assumed that they do not sell motorcycle clothing when they do.
Pros
- Ease of use.
- Reliability, as the website has never been down.
- Cost.
Cons
- For some features you need to be on higher plans, which are expensive for a small company.
- Coupon/discount codes are missing some simple features.
- Draw customers into the store.
$20,000 to $100,000

I had used BigCommerce for a few years previously, so I was familiar with the platform. Shopify is the main rival for BigCommerce, but I preferred how BigCommerce worked. Magento, I would say, has the ability to be a better platform, but also has the cost to go with it if you are not capable of doing it yourself.
