Overall Satisfaction with Buddy Punch

I like the simplicity of the website dashboard, and I can use it no matter the device (I travel a lot and it's useful to use it on my smartphone when I'm on the go). It takes a while to figure out how to enter times when not in real-time, but overall I like how it works and keeps an accurate record of my times!

Buddy Punch would be well-suited in various situations, such as professionals who attend events such as conferences and conventions. Having a responsive web app like this is convenient and takes some of the hassle out of entering times, rather than doing it when returning to the office. Another situation where Buddy Punch would be well-suited is for students: if they are active in punching in and out, I think they would be more likely to remain engaged in their curriculum!

Evaluating Buddy Punch and Competitors

Yes - Microsoft Excel -- manual and not user-friendly. I had to enter my times in manually, and I wasn't sure if my math was correct! Luckily, the templates were simple, but there was a bit of a learning curve on how to fill in the information correctly. I'm sure my colleagues who aren't as familiar with Excel as I am had a more challenging time!

The most important factor for me was finding something that was familiar. Many people have used timekeeping software before, and they all look generally the same. Why not have an application that not only looks similar to others, but is also easy to navigate and is responsive to various devices?
I would not change my evaluation and selection process, but I would expect that my input is allowed for all planned upgrades and act as a participant in a focus group. Because of the huge increase of remote workers, there are some enhancements that I would be aware of, and would like the opportunity to express them to the developers and other key people involved with this product.
