Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

Key use cases for the solution are an increase into visibility into compensation in a timely manner, replacing previous delayed and occasionally difficult to reconcile manual processes across multiple systems, in addition to the upfront inclusion of all stakeholders.

Beyond that, transparency of payments to commissioned employees is a win for the solution so while the product can be tricky to navigate, employees understand that the information they need is available to them

  • Single delivery method for commission information
  • Simple means for employees to track payments and tiers in self-service model
  • Interface appears different on every use which compounds design issues
  • Design of interface has room for improvement in terms of intuitiveness to reduce support overhead
  • Lacks consolidation in reporting - can require multiple clicks to get breakdown of information
  • Improvement of getting numbers to sales team quickly has reduced hours tied up by revenue-generating employees
  • Reducing manual processes reduces errors and corrections
  • Negative goodwill created by overpayments all but removed due to catching issues earlier

For complex and disparate sales orgs it is a solid tool which is useful in being able to create a single self-service portal for all manner of stakeholders without additional burden on compensation staff. Data is easy to see for those who need it and can be accessed indivudually.

Design of the interface could be improved and it can be confusing to understand where to turn on occasions with dead ends frequently but not to the point that I wouldn't recommend the tool overall
