Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
4 of our 5 US divisions use it. The other division is on Workday and raves about it. Ceridian payroll is great, but a lot of the HCM functionality is useless since it can't ingest data from other sources. Ceridian is about 3 years behind the market on the Power BI dashboard integration, were about 3 years behind on comp, and are also a few years behind on mobile forms functionality.
Good payroll, mediocre to poor HCM. Ceridian's current value proposition is that it's already installed and lower cost than Workday. They have positioned themselves as a commodity, which is not a great strategy. Honestly, I have been disappointed so far. The only reason I'm still considering Dayforce is an excellent Sales Executive who listens and is trying to help.

- Payroll services
- Time and attendance
- An excellent Sales Executive who is trying to help
- Product development is behind the speed of the market
- Its almost 2020 and the product owner for mobile is not allowed to commit a date for full mobile-first functionality, especially of forms
- Dashboards are dependent on being all in with Ceridian, which means that growing/acquiring businesses cannot use them. They are late to market with the Power BI solution
- Not much ROI.
Helps with payroll but not much else.
We can use it for scheduling only - it's not a full HCM.
