Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

I use ClickUp to manage design projects for all of our clients. We have only 5 users but multiple (around 8-12) clients. Each client has a separate space, and users access only the projects they are currently involved with. This arrangement works efficiently for us and is much better than the previous one (using a free account) where we did not have enough spaces for all clients.
  • Arrange spaces and lists according to our needs
  • Allow easily customized statuses
  • Give access to users according to their respective projects
  • Easily switch between views
  • Overall speed. In my experience, it is very slow, even with fast connections and recent PCs.
  • In my experience, editing a task is especially slow, especially if you have a description. This needs unexpected extra time to access some back-end service.
  • Sometimes I just want to type a slash ("/") but the shortcuts get in the way. We should be able to customize the "commands" shortcut.
  • In my opinion, ClickUp grew too quickly. Therefore the UI became cluttered with countless toolbars scattered all over (afterthoughts?). Some menus are not logical or intuitive.
  • Updates propagate slowly, especially among different users. Sometimes we need to refresh a page to see the updates.
  • Bugs. Several of them. Some are very frequent. Just look at the forum. These need fixing before anything else.
  • Too many features which are not so important. Please do not try to be everything for everyone. There is a post in the forum which asks you to slow down and focus on improving what you already have instead of adding new features all the time. I completely agree.
  • Not able to quantify, but the ability to concentrate all activities in a single place (ClickUp) has certainly streamlined our workflow.
We improved our ability to see a project state because now we can concentrate all activities on ClickUp.
This question is similar to the previous one, so part of the response is the same as my previous answer: We were able to concentrate all activities in a single place. However, the Gantt charts and Box views provided are not exactly what we need. We currently don't see them as intuitive tools where we could see at a glance what is happening (unless we micro-managed everything which is not desirable and time-consuming).

It's well suited to divide multiple projects among specific users, and if you need lots of customization. In my opinion, it it not adequate if you need a simple, lean, easy-to-learn project manager.
