Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare

We currently use Cloudflare to protect our applications against web attacks and also to create access caching.
  • Detecção de requisições de Bots
  • Mitigação contra ataques de DDoS
  • Facilidade no gerenciamento de regras
  • Could reduce the number of false positives in managed rules
  • Improve detection of brute force attacks
  • Possibility to see complete payloads without having to decrypt the payload manually when sending the log to a SIEM.
  • Reduction in rule implementation time
  • Reduction in downtime
  • Greater coverage against different types of attacks
  • Greater visibility into threats
Cloudflare has more anti-threat features and is very easy to manage. AWS WAF is more complex to manage and does not contribute much against new threats. Furthermore, AWS WAF is not flexible when it comes to rules.
With little time we were able to use several resources on Cloudflare and in just a few months we had great results in blocking threats and also a great reduction in the learning curve for using the tool.
I only needed to open one ticket, which was answered quickly.
