Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers (formerly Avention)

At Neopost USA and also at Getty Images, we used D&B as the backbone to our Master Data Management platform. We regularly DUNS matched about 2 Million Customer and Prospect records against their pool of 500 Million records to cleanse and enhance our critical business data. We also implemented Hoovers as a means for our Customer Information team to easily look up and resolve miss-matching records as well as a tool for our Sales Reps to become intimately knowledgeable about their Customers and Prospects prior to the Sales Calls. Additionally, our Marketing team used D&B to supplement their targeting efforts and identify new prospective companies to add to our acquisition campaigns.

We generate considerable data quality reports on a regular basis to check for unmatched records, newly created records and data that is missing critical attributes. We also run all sorts of industry-specific lists as we are targeting certain segments. Prior to Sales calls, we utilize numerous Company profile reports to educate ourselves prior to Sales calls.
