Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Scheduling and tracking employee hours for entry into third party payroll software. I'm not currently using Deputy itself for payroll.

App support for manager/owner has been non-existent or lacking features. I just gave up after a while and have been logging in via web the past couple years. I'm not even sure if they have a usable decent app now. They kept saying one was coming but it never did, so I just gave up and used web, which was a real pain on mobile. I had to switch to "desktop view" to get all the features I needed out of the webpage. Not ideal.
It was decent overall, and my employees didn't seem to have trouble with their version of the app, but no usable full featured app for me was a huge downside. Otherwise, implementation was smooth.
It's decent for small businesses who want a good task scheduling and hour tracking solution with payroll integration that's not too expensive. Fees can get expensive for multiple employees though, especially when you start adding features such as payroll. If you're really pinching pennies, there are other apps and services for less money.
