Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
We currently use Deputy to manage our staff rostering and timesheets and integrate with MYOB for payroll. The added functionality of being able to assign tasks to not only individual employees but also areas is handy, along with the Newsfeed being able to keep all staff members updated easily.
- Rostering
- Integrating with Payroll.
- Leave Management.
- Newsfeed: The ability to schedule when messages are sent to employees would be advantageous.
- Tasks: Being able to assign a task list to multiple areas instead of just being limited to one.
- Leave Requests: the ability to have customizable cut-off times for submitting leave (e.g. Leave requests for the next week can only be submitted up to 5 pm on Thursday the week prior).
- Tasks: Being able to assign tasks to individual employees and schedule when they receive the notification (i.e. if I am setting tasks at 11 pm at night for staff commencing work at 5 am).
- The ability to have a designated (management) employee included on ALL Newsfeed messages regardless of if they have been included. This would ensure proper moderation of the platform.
- Positive: improved accuracy of start and finish times for employees without the need to round to the nearest 15 minutes.
- Positive: Easier for staff to swap shifts as the system takes care of who is approved to work in which areas.
