Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Dropbox is critical to our workflow. We manage private business and government manufacturing production so flow is important to not only WHAT we produce but also in sharing information between departments, response time to customer needs and and quick access to historical data important to our processes. Most of our employees have implemented Dropbox in the personal lives as well due to the ease of use. We would be lost in piles of papers and untrackable data if we didn't have this important resource.
- ORGANIZATION
- PERSONALIZATION
- QUICK SEARCH
- SHARED & SECURE ACCESS
- WHEN I SEARCH, I WOULD LIKE THE FOLDERS TO SHOW FIRST THEN THE ITEMS WITHIN FOLDERS.
- EASIER MAPABILITY WHEN SEARCHING ITEMS (NOT JUST 'HERE IT IS' BUT 'WHERE IT IS' WITHIN OUR DROPBOX FILING SYSTEM
- COLORED FOLDERS WOULD BE COOL
- We work with several other local manufacturing companies. I myself have been in their offices. Just visually, not having constant stacks of physical file folders and papers, laying on every single surface is the most obvious impact. The clutter at companies still operating solely off of paper, is mentally draining on the eyes.
- I can take a customer's request over the phone and search their companies requirements in our Company Profiles folder. I can see their history, needs and product usage with a few quick clicks.
- Searching using Dropbox is seamless and easily customizable. My customers get the impression I'm always on top of their needs due to having all of their history with us at my finger tips.
We've used Trello for some file storage as well as for meetings and organization and it really isn't as comprehensive as Dropbox. Partly due to Dropbox being set up exactly how we need it. We're not working on a template set up by the provider. We were unimpressed with it's ability to be thorough and quick for everybody.
