Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

Dropbox sign is instrumental in the operation of our business. We have one agreement that needs minimal customization (name, address, monthly fees, deposit amount, and dates), but has about a dozen pages that must be acknowledged and often referred to later when a customer has a question or issue. We were able to draft our main agreement with no limit to how many pages we could use, making sure to use the exact language required. Then, with each successive customer, all we do is pop in, add the pertinent info, and send to the client. Customers are always amazed with how complete and thorough the contracts are, and we love being able to do all this without having to print anything. Once or twice, we have had to refer a customer to a particular section when a disagreement arises, and we have been able to find the exact location with ease. We also love being able to download the doc as a PDF and upload into our CRM for future reference. This product has been a life-saver both in the beginning of the customer's journey with us, and as it comes to a close, to keep both sides accountable, but what we love most is that it makes us look "bigger" than we are, and allows us to spell out exactly our obligations to the customer, and theirs to us.

  • It would be nice if anytime a template was customized for a new client, it prompted you to rename it, or even if it automatically named it - taking the date and adding it to the template name.

I am giving this a "10", because once your basic agreement is drawn up, you can have employees customize it for each customer. Everyone gets the same agreement, and it's impossible for an employee to delete important parts of the agreement. Remember, it's all in the setup. And even if you don't have employees, you will appreciate the ease of customization on days you're just not feeling it but need to get a dog out for a signature anyway.
Easy to set up, hard to screw up once everything is done.
Adobe was too complicated to set up.

Dropbox Sign is well suited for simple agreements that require one signature and maybe a few fields to be completed. We find that if you need sections to be initialed, it can be overwhelming to the customer. Dropbox Sign is great in instances when you do not need to print entire contracts. Just save the PDF to your computer, or, as we do, upload it to each particular client's account, so it is always there to refer to in the event of a disagreement.

As a small business, we are very cost-conscious. This item offered comparable features to the pricier products, but at a greater value.
As small businesses, we need to watch the bottom line at all times. Anytime a product offers the functionality we need, we evaluate the price vs. features offered. Our agreements are fairly straightforward, so we would go with the product that offered what we needed at the best price.

Dropbox Sign Support

This product is so easy to use we've never had to call support. We have never had an issue that needed help. Our main user (beyond initial setup) simply enters names and numbers into the fields and sends the doc to the new customer. We have sometimes had customers have issues, and in this case, we just print it for them to sign.

We did not purchase premium support. This item is so well made, we do not anticipate needing it. We are, however, glad that it is there in the event that we do ever need it. The ease os customization, implementation, and general use were the main drivers in our decision to select this product.
We do not have an instance when we require any support but will reiterate that we are very pleased with the ease of use and functionality of this product.
