Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
As we struggle to unite engineers across an ever-expanding complex system topology running locally and in the cloud, we find incredible inefficiency in the standard processes for collaboration around system operations, monitoring, maintenance, and problem investigation. The infamous “war room” mode of operation and escalation is costly, aggravating, and disincentivizing to both engineering and management personnel. Dynatrace helps us to remove the pain from every single part of the problem identification, isolation, escalation, and remediation processes. With the new Dynatrace One Agent, it is extremely easy to be up-and-running within a few minutes and already providing valuable insights and correlated information to the entire staff anywhere in the world.
- The ease of installation and time-to-value on this solution is astonishing. Many times you have to wait for weeks or months to realise the benefits for technical automation, but with Dynatrace it is perceptible immediately.
- Finding problems is a challenge for any profiling or diagnostics tool, but with Dynatrace you are connected to the intelligent engine for cross-component analysis for a comprehensive system.
- The Dynatrace community is incredibly helpful, in part because I think there is respect for how hard it is to solve performance and system problems. When you’re stuck on an issue or need assistance, the Dynatrace community is thriving with helpful peers.
- The extensibility for using Dynatrace data in other tools and solutions is more complex and more advanced. There could be benefit in having easier-to-use integrations with other leading technologies.
- MTTR goes from days and weeks to hours and minutes.
- Eliminating any misinformation in the escalation process is important to us - avoiding cross-purpose communication, incorrect presumptions, and invalid hypothesis.
Dynatrace is easier and faster to use than any other. Dynatrace is also growing and expanding, where I see other solutions starting to fall apart, nickel-and-dime and contract their offerings to squeeze money from current install base.
