Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

The Children's Agenda uses EveryAction to: Manage and send e-newsletters and other mass email communications Send action alerts to supporters to send letters and sign petitions to elected officials Track donors and donation
  • Designing and sending e-newsletters is quick and easy.
  • The automation of letter campaigns only going to constituents and their respective representatives makes our advocacy more effective.
  • Being able to save searches means that when we send emails we know, with only the click of a button, that they are going to the most updated list of our supporters.
  • Being able to build audience lists by adding in and taking out one step at a time lets us target our communications more effectively.
  • It would be nice to have a way to create shorter and "more friendly" URLs for our links rather than using the auto-generated ones. They are too complex for putting on print communications or graphics that aren't clickable for people to type the URL into their browser. They are also too long for twitter posts. To avoid this, we post the link onto our website where we can create a short URL with words that are easy to remember and type. That added step takes time we could use better in other ways.
  • EveryAction has allowed us to build a base of over 6,000 individuals who support policy change for children and to organize them to take actions that help get new laws and public funding passed.
It is very intuitive and easy to use. Our more tech savvy staff have largely been able to teach themselves how to use at least the basic functions.
We have never had an availability problem.
We would not have been able to achieve legislative wins for children without EveryAction. It has allowed us to organize more than 6,000 individuals to take actions and communicate with their elected officials in a strategic and effective way. It is essential to our work and supports the entire mission of our organization.

EveryAction is ideal for any advocacy group that is organizing the public to engage with their elected officials on issues. We primarily use it to send out Action Alerts calling on supporters to sign letters and petitions. From advocating with the local school board for more investment in mental health supports for students to advocating with the Governor to enact into law legislation to reduce child poverty -- EveryAction is a vital tool in our advocacy for public policies and public funding that support the well-being of children.
