Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

Two of our big companies have company credit cards, and we are also managing one owner's personal credit card, as well as all the employees' expense reimbursements across all companies. It allows us to easily capture expenses, generate reports, review and approve various expenses using different policies. It has a simplified cloud-based interface.

Pros

  • Super easy to capture receipts, you can snap a photo of your receipt and email it to the designated email for it to post.
  • Can input several receipts at the same time and drag and drop receipts to be attached to the expense.

Cons

  • For some reason, attaching a receipt to the expense takes a long time and sometimes it fails.
  • It saves so much time.
  • The report is straightforward and all the expenses are easy to identify. There is a list of expense, summary of receipts and receipts.
We haven't had any problems with Expensify since we started using it, so can't really comment on support. But I do know they have an online community where you can search for the help and answers you need, there's also an online chat option which I recently tested and it took them only 10 mins to get back to me, which is decent.

This program is so user friendly and easy to use. You can use it any time anywhere, for example, right after you pay for your expenses. It makes uploading and recording employee expenses so much easier and faster, and as a result employees get reimbursed faster. The reports generated are very easy to understand. It is good for users who have lots of expenses that need to be reimbursed very often.

Using Expensify

15 - Some employees use it to track their business expenses when they are on trips paying out of their own pocket. Some employees use company credit cards to make purchases and we need to invoice those expenses out to related companies.

  • It speeds up the expense reimbursement process since we can take a picture and email it to concierge.
The whole experience has been pleasant. Interface is extremely simple and the layout is easy to navigate. Options and commands are very intuitive and all the functions - such as emailing receipts to Expensify for it to file have made our expense reimbursement process faster and more efficient. The only complaint is sometimes it takes a while to attach a PDF, and sometimes it will fail.
