Overall Satisfaction with Gong
Gong is used to recording all customer calls. One example - I was covering for a colleague who was on sabbatical. Some of the information I shared was said to be "the exact opposite" of what my colleague had previously told the customer. Uh oh! I was able to go back and listen to their previous call and confirm that this wasn't the case - we just worded things a bit differently and I could see where the miscommunication was taking place but, fortunately, we were aligned. Without Gong, I wouldn't have been able to find the call quickly, share the snippet externally, and make sure the customer knew she wasn't getting different information from different folks.

- Making it easy to share snippets
- Tracking if follow up emails have been sent
- The transcription is not always super accurate
- Uploading a call doesn't give you the option to backdate it
- Delighting customers with timeline and comprehensive follow up emails
Yes - the insights help direct my follow-up emails and help me go back to find specific customer calls where specific products or functionalities were discussed.
