Overall Satisfaction with Gong

I use Gong to review sales calls, go back and listen to customer calls, and call coaching with my team. Gong has helped us resolve a lot of escalations that were due to miscommunication. It allows us to stay ahead of trends by picking up on key words. It also allows me to measure productivity of my team.
  • Gives actionable suggestions and feedback with each call.
  • Records calls and transcribes them.
  • They make it extremely easy to search for specific calls or emails by company, keywords etc.
  • I would love to see a weekly report that is emailed to me of my teams productivity, trends in their calls etc (similar to the gong calls that are sent to me once they finish up a call).
  • Greater Alignment between departments
  • Ability to help resolve escalations due to miscommunication
  • Has helped us scale our team and also do more with less by being able to review past calls.
  • It has helped us save time and allowed our teams to be in the moment with the customer.
Gong has really helped us get insights into what is happening with our customer base. We are able to easily set up filters for key words and then the calls with those key words are flagged and emailed to leadership. This is helpful because it can help us stay ahead of competition but also allows us to detect macroeconomic trends as well (depending on the words you are flagging).
Gong has provided my team with very actionable and reliable insights. Inside of Gong, on each call, you can see multiple attributes of a call, such as number of questions asked by us vs. the customer, action items, keywords, filler words, talk ratio, patient meter etc. Gong then provides tips based on the conversation.
I cannot be on every call with every teammate. Gong has given me the ability to flag key words, such as the name of our competitors, or even phrases around the economy (budget, funds, etc.). This allows us to identify quickly what is being discussed and jump straight to those conversations. We can also see how many calls had similar keywords.
