Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

[Gong.io] is being used by our inbound sales team to manage their pipeline and basically review their performance on a day-to-day basis. [Gong.io] has been able to give us visibility on things that were not caught in the past, and it has made our sales process significantly smoother. It is not only helping with time and efficiency but also to understand where we have room for improvement. The deal alerts are a quick way for managers to find the low-hanging fruits, and the call analysis makes every meeting much easier. Overall, I would say this is a MUST for any sales team.

I haven't used anything similar to [Gong.io]. The closest has been HubSpot as a CRM, but they are different tools so it is hard to make a comparison.

[Gong.io] is well suited for sales teams that rely on direct communication with potential customers. The longer the sales cycle/pipeline, the better [Gong.io] will be to improve overall closing rates and times. I would not recommend [Gong.io] for small/start-ups until they have a solid sales team and a constant influx of leads.
