Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Gong.io makes it easy to record calls and analyze calls that have already happened. This helps with tracking and coaching, allowing us to get reps up to speed faster and ensure the important topics we need to discuss with customers are discussed on the calls, and coach our reps to do so if they don't.
  • Record calls
  • Analyze calls
  • Provide opportunity for coaching
  • Expensive
  • Opportunity management within Gong.io is not good/needed
  • Call recording
  • Call analysis
  • Keyword tracking and notifications
  • Gong.io allows us to not waste any valuable time when talking with customers
  • We can track topics of conversation that can be shared with those on other teams so that we don't have to have as many people on calls with customers
  • General time saving when coaching and ramping
Gong.io doesn't do as many things as its competitors, but what it does, it does really well. Gong.io is better at what it does than any other competitor. A tool like Salesloft can replace both Gong.io and Outreach, but its call recording is nowhere near as strong as Gong.io and it does not compete in that part of the product. We don't need the other bells and whistles that the other tools have, so Gong.io is the right tool for us

Yes

Did implementation of Gong go as expected?

Would you buy Gong again?

Yes

Gong.io is built well for sales leaders and ops to analyze performance on calls so that we can coach sales reps and get them ramped quicker. We can also track mentions of competitors and other concerning topics easily on Gong.io, allowing us to know ahead of time where we will have challenges in the sales process. Gong.io might not work well for larger businesses (I've only used it at startups) as it doesn't scale as well as you might like it to
