Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive
Google Drive allows our Management and Sales Team to organize, share, and edit documents with each other. You can create folders, hold a variety of document types, and have 15GB of free storage. After that you can purchase more storage starting at $1.99/month. I've been using it for several years now and haven't had to upgrade. You can access the drive from any laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Converting documents to PDF's is extremely simple as well. You can email, text, or print documents from a device with ease. It's a free, simple, and easy way to communicate, share documents, etc.
- Email, text, and print documents effortlessly.
- Easily create folders and organize documents within the Drive.
- Set a security level that you're comfortable with before sharing documents with co-workers for viewing, editing, or commenting.
- Depending on the internet connection or if you forget to close out from one device before opening it on another, some edits may not be saved.
- Keeps me and our team organized.
- Allows us to collaborate easily even though we work from different locations.
- Allows me to send my team updated menus at any time even if I'm not on site.
Dropbox allows for some collaboration as well, but I like the editing features within Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets more so than the Microsoft Online features that Dropbox uses. Plus, when dealing with the sales team from Dropbox, it left a lot to be desired. With Google, I've never had to reach out to customer support for issues accessing documents. Storage sizes for the free versions of both are similar as well.
