Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect

GoTo Connect is used in many ways within our organization. The main reason we chose to implement the GoTo service within our organization is for the ease of use and for connecting our team digitally across multiple platforms. We needed an alternative to Webex and looked at a few alternatives but found the encompassing capabilities of GoTo to cover all of our needs. We use it both domestically and internationally seamlessly and without any issues.

  • Sharing & collaborating in real time on a team project
  • Video conferencing is simple to use
  • Redesigning of the application makes it difficult for users to re-learn simple settings
  • The lack of ability to form group chats and use the service while not in a meeting
  • Screen share does not take up the entire screen which makes it difficult to sometimes view
  • Cost savings over other VOIP alternatives has been excellent
  • Increased productivity with less downtime fixing IT issues
  • Re-training employees on new graphical user interface has been cumbersome
The implementation of the GoTo Connect system has been a breeze and the customer support was extremely helpful with our international employees who needed configuration setup to receive and make outbound international calls using various country codes. The installation was a breeze using our existing internet service and just plugged in the new phones, connected to the internet, and retrieved our configuration profiles for each user.
The call quality has been excellent. We never have experienced dropped calls and the only times the phone does act up is when we are dealing with internet issues which is out of GoTo Connect control. Calls are crystal clear, especially from one GoTo Connect user to another.
The usability of GoTo Connect is sufficient enough for our small organization. It offers us many features that can help us track call reports by the user as well as an easy setup of ring groups to handle multiple users' incoming calls and direct them to the correct phone.

GoTo Connect is an exceptional service but leaves some room for improvement in its application interface. With the recent redesign of the application, many users are struggling to learn where common actions have been moved to. However, once the service is running and has been learned it is a powerful tool to help bridge the company closers vs using conventional email.
