Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
We use GoTo Meeting to meet with clients to review monthly results of our marketing efforts on their behalf. We also use GoTo Meeting to meet with vendors for regular status updates on the work they're performing for us. We it when prospecting, meeting virtually with prospective clients and their teams which are more frequently now located in multiple remote locations. We like using it as well when we do 1:1 training sessions for the digital marketing training courses we offer, and for getting prospective Ohio students set up for the Ohio TechCred program so they can get full reimbursement for the training. The state website is difficult to navigate, and the students really appreciate the ability to do a screenshare with us so they're certain they've gotten set up properly for the state grant program.
- Logging in is simple
- Technically dependable without glitches
- Intuitively easy to use
- It can be tricky to switch users, but easy once you figure it out
- Initial setup for non-users can take some hand holding
- Too easy to not be aware of a direct message in chat
- Number of meetings has grown from 1-2 / week to 10-12/week
We also subscribe to MS Teams, but after using it for two months decided to go with GoTo Meeting since it is much more reliable and easier to use. For instance, the control pane in MS Teams is virtually fixed in place making it extremely difficult to see any open browser tabs you might have on your screen when you need them. While MS Teams is clunky, GoTo Meeting provides a much more professional environment.
