Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilized GoTo Meeting for Video Conferencing, and I specifically used it for my sales calls and demonstrations for outbound sales processes. It was a useful tool to help meet our prospects and help convey our solutions to them. Screen-sharing functionality was solid, and the UI was easy to use.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom and Google Meet

It is a step above Google Meet but a step below Zoom. We chose Zoom at the end of the day because an organization we acquired had been using Zoom, so for ease of use, we switched over to it. Google Meet has minimal functionality and really is just there for virtual meetings/screen sharing. GoTo Meeting is better for larger audiences or meetings that require more functionality. Zoom is easy to use in all areas.

Likelihood to Recommend

Any web-conferencing or outbound calls are great to use GoTo Meeting. It has all the bells and whistles you need to create and manage meetings, and while my functional use was for Sales Calls, I can see more areas in which it can be more beneficial, like Internal Company Announcements or Virtual Social Events.
