Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've used the free version of Hootesuite for years now. During three different jobs. I haven't been in a place where I've needed to purchase the larger plan simply due to our limited social media presence. I've used it to schedule out posts in advance and have always found it very user-friendly and helpful. I love the preview of the posts, and the system has only gotten better with time.

Pros and Cons

Scheduling posts.
Managing multiple platforms.
Showing a calendar of events across those platforms.

LinkedIn images can post a little funny when using square images.

I haven't had to reach out to their support team once. To me - that's an automatic high score because that means they solve the problems BEFORE they get to me.

It's really best when you manage multiple businesses or many different social platforms. The calendar view allows you to see what you have scheduled across everything so you have a big picture scenario. I'm sure if I had a Facebook business page, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, it would be even more helpful. The biggest thing to me is advanced scheduling. I use the free version for LinkedIn alone since they don't allow you to advance schedule your posts.
