Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use it to track and manage sales-related communication. For example, we can use it to track leads generated by various methods including Hubspot, send a targetted mailing, measure the pipeline, project future sales (if we use it consistently). We rate leads generated by industry, company size, geography, and accounting system used.
  • lead tracking
  • email monitoring
  • marketing channel effectiveness measurement
  • Not the easiest to learn
  • Training tools need work
  • loose coupling to other tools such as outlook, gmail,
  • shorter deal cycles
  • negative is lower sales rep adoption
It is less easy to use, more difficult to find what you want to do. It is generally there, but when you get into it, it looks like there is not a lot you can do.
Sage CRM I found easier to use and less useful since I want to align marketing with sales, and Sage CRM is not great at marketing. We ended up using Hubspot because of that, but Sage CRM was easier to adopt. (And Hubspot CRM was not available at the time).

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

No

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

Yes

It is very good where the primary source of leads is email or website. It is not so good at telemarketing, word of mouth, referrals. Something like Act! is appropriate where you have a single database and need the ability to quickly run reports. It is also not built with all the features other packages have; it is assumed you can add stuff to it to do what you want.
