Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

We are RPA Service providers and IBM businees partners. We recommend and use the IBM Robotic Process Automation platform to automate our clients' businesses. Not many MS Office options (like Pivot and Lookup) but provided macro/vbsccript support which is not suitable for non-programatic users. The new version(21.0) of documentation is much better. I love the coonectors of google drive, one drvie, dropbox provided by IBM RPA. The best feature is dashboard customization without paying extra. Easy way of triggering bots using Launcher(desktop application), Scehduler, Control Room API, Bot agent API(clinet system). IBM RPA was improved a lot recently and the future feature list seems very good.

I did not used chatbots integrations so far. But IBM RPA provided many options to develop chat bots. IBM RPA required Microsoft Azure Cloud Bot subscription to deploy chat bots.
one of our client's Finance Recon process is rule-based but very time taking as the transaction are in millions. The IBM RPA reduced human effort and improved process time.

We always recommend the IBM Robotic Process Automation as it is easy to use, no complex installation, easy control center operations and will do automation one way or another. Low cost of IBM RPA with all features is eye-catching.

Well suited for business automation. Need some improvements in automating Windows applications. As the IBM RPA product evolving rapidly much recommended for repetitive, rule-based tasks. Not suitable for automating apllications thru RDP

Configuring IBM Robotic Process Automation

Moderate configurations with less complexity
We use process specific configurations for use cases. We always use excel for normal configurations if the configuration is not availabe in IBM RPA.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - Dashbaord only
No - the product does not support adding custom code

Yes - They accepted the Bug and provided fix in next release or provided an alternative
One time we are unable to automate with MS dynamix AX system with IBM RPA. The support provided very good support thru webex even though the result was failed.
