Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Resume
Recruiting as well as sales managers & general managers. These roles are often looking to fill spots for salespeople as well as sales managers. These are members apart of the sales teams and general management team, but there are officials in the company who work in accounting as well as the finance teams. The primary driver for using Indeed Resume is to find candidates that have the resume we're looking for, without them having to apply.

In our organization, we use Indeed Resume to search for candidates that meet the criteria for the position we're trying to hire for. This allows us to be one of the first employers that reach out to these candidates. It also allows us to lower the barrier of entry because these candidates don't have to apply for the role when we reach out to them. It's nice that the tools allow you to set up search criteria, and then save the search so that the system remembers your preferences. The system can also set up a trigger to notify you when a new resume that meets your search criteria is updated or posted so that you can be the first employer to reach out.
- Applicant testing
- Resume search
- Recruiting automations
- Automation limitations
- Decreased time spent searching for applicants.
- Increased return on investment for recruiting.
- Decreased churn of new hires.
We have been able to organize our pipelines of candidates quite easily using Indeed Resume because you can create folders/lists for specific projects or roles. We typically organize our projects based on open roles and location. This has allowed us to keep a pipeline of qualified candidates per position in each location so that we can manage their status. We can move candidates to interested, not interested, disqualified, and many more. You can also set up the system to send automatic reminders which has been helpful.
We used to rely heavily on the recruiter that we have on the team, and her partner... but now we have rolled out the Indeed Resume tool to all our middle-management which has increased our efficiency and time saved IMMENSELY. Instead of having just two people recruiting for 14 offices, we now have ~20 people recruiting for the offices. This has allowed us to scale at a much faster pace, all with reduced time spent per location/aggregate.
In truth, we have stuck with Indeed Resume and have not ventured off yet due to the power and simplicity that we have with this single tool. The various aspects of this one tool allow us to simplify our recruit stack so we don't need a variety of tools, thus decreasing the time spent hopping between platforms. We have ADP for some recruiting, but it's limited in its ability... which is why we have stuck with Indeed Resume for so long, even expanding our use of it across the company.

Indeed Resume has allowed us to quickly create a shortlist of qualified candidates that we would like to pursue as viable options for employment. As stated in previous areas, the automation tools that Indeed Resume has allow us to have this generated for us with little to no effort (other than the upfront setup). With shortlist creation done semi-automatically, the recruiting cycle has been cut down to a short window. When we have an opening we can very quickly generate a list of qualified persons in addition to traditional job posting options.
Indeed Resume Feature Ratings
Using Indeed Resume
20 - The people who are using Indeed Resume in our organization serve several different functions. Mainly, these are sales managers and general managers who are recruiting for their respective locations. The main set of users that are utilizing this tool is the sales managers who are looking to recruit new sales talent. The secondary user group that utilizes this software is our recruiting team which looks to fill openings for the rest of the company (all departments).
3 - The users/people that are support users for this product are the recruiting manager and her team (2 people). There are a few power-users in the general manager's group, but mainly, most folks will defer to the recruiting team if there are questions/support issues. The folks on this team have the most experience with the tool as they are utilizing it every day, versus the general managers or sales managers who might use it a few times per month.
- Searching for your ideal candidate for an open position
- Establishing a turnkey system that automatically delivers candidates that fit your idea
- Creating a manageable pipeline for your recruiting
- We expanded our recruiting efforts laterally by implementing this across management divisions.
- Establishing projects/campaigns for specific roles
- Setting up saved searches for ideal candidates that notify managers when a new candidate matches that criteria
- I anticipate we will expand the user group to allow for more users across divisions to self-recruit versus being reliant on just the recruiting team
- With the automation that this tool allows, I anticipate we will establish more saved searches that notify key roles/managers of potential talent as resumes are updated - this will allow us to be first to recruit a potential candidate.

When I was set up with the account I didn't quite know how to post, recruit, manage applicants, etc - Their tools and team were quite helpful. If you need to know how to filter resumes for specific applicant experience and or work history, they have tools to quickly learn how to do that. They also have helpful docs to quickly understand certain features and benefits so you can get back to doing what really matters and not spending all your time learning their software.
