Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro
Jamf Pro is used fleet wide in our organization. We have a small team of remote users spread across the US and could not as easily manage the entire team without the use of Jamf. Business problems sometimes include very complex solutions and Jamf support is always there to assist in something you are not familiar with setting up. Additionally, Jamf Nation is second to none when it comes to peer support for the product
- Management support and clear/concise assistance when needed
- Deployment ease and customization
- Listening to customers requests for features
- Jamf Cloud hosting for small business
- Feature requests take some time for review before implementation even for simple popular issues
- Better hardware reporting could be written to report newer MacBooks with overheating issues
- Triggers for hourly policies without changing device check-in times
- Easier to manage remote users
- Cost effectiveness of using Jamf Cloud service over local hardware
- Jamf support and peer assistance is simply the best
In comparison to IBM Jamf is a clear-cut winner. Jamf tends to react faster to pushes and overall user support is far superior to that of IBM. Using MaaS360 for a period of 2 years had made the life of a Mac admin significantly more stressful than it needed to be. Jamf has made the system very user friendly and has cut my workload in half!
