Overall Satisfaction with KISSmetrics

We use KISSmetrics in the Marketing department to fill in the gaps left by Google Analytics, giving us much better insight into who our customers are, why they come to our sites, and how we can better convert them. KISSmetrics has been invaluable in this respect, especially considering the ease of use and setup it provides.
  • Ease of setup and integration with Google Analytics and Optimizely
  • Segmentation/cohort identification
  • Funnel analysis
  • KISSmetrics doesn't let you see all the events any given user triggered or all the funnels he or she went through
  • You can get a long way with just Google Analytics
  • Much better understanding of our conversion funnels
  • Segmentation led to much better targeting of offers and content
It's not something I need in my current position, but it was super helpful when I worked in a more mature digital marketing organization.
It's less appropriate for early-stage marketing analytics and less mature programs.
