KnowBe4 PhishER - A great tool to use as a second line of defense

We use KnowBe4 PhishER to allow staff to report emails they find suspicious to us for review. This works very well and helps to train people in scam and phishing emails. We also use it as a secondary defense system, we have a security system to block emails that are malicious or include profanity, etc. but when that email system doesn't block a certain email, KnowBe4 PhishER can be used by the staff member to report and quarantine the email. We can then use it to block any further emails from coming through.

KnowBe4 PhishER has allowed us to focus on other core security related issues by allowing users to report emails and having KnowBe4 PhishER identify what type of threat the email is and what must be done with it. We can then go through a update any we believe were incorrectly identified, but this is rare as a majority of emails are correctly identified by the software.

We have implemented PhishRIP as it easily allows KnowBe4 PhishER to identify duplicate scam/phishing emails in other users mailboxes and quarantines them. We also use Blocklist regularly to ensure further emails from the same senders are blocked from our network and users mailboxes. We finally use PhishML to allow it to automatically detect emails as either Threats or Spam.
