Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's used by one of our departments for easier editing of PDFs and combining/splitting PDFs submitted by other agencies. It's been cheap enough for us to use and only needing basic functionality currently. It has been used as Nuance previously so was easier to continue using. PDFs normally come in scanned so have to OCR scan with other tools before using in Kofax.

Ease-of-Use

Continued using similar features to what was done in Kofax. No dramatic change in usage.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Kofax is more basic but cheaper to deploy.

Support Rating

Only time I used support from Nuance, they couldn't find order history and needed to order more copies rather than allow a movement from old devices no longer accessible.
