Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Litmus is used across my department, from production to management. We rely on Litmus to make sure our email templates render correctly across a vast array of inboxes. Litmus Checklist instills in me the confidence that my carefully crafted message will be received as intended. Litmus Proof makes it easier to get stakeholders to collaborate on one document. It streamlines the often painful process of having a project reviewed and approved.
Pros
- Inbox renders are the prime reason I use Litmus, I am confident they represent reality.
- Litmus helps legitimize the struggles of every email developer.
- Litmus makes it very easy to share results, whether they are inbox renders or email analytics, with my entire team.
Cons
- I'd like to see more integrations, what I've seen looks great!
- Proof share links should not expire after 30 days. Some time the approval process takes longer than a month!
- Some choices in Spam Scores.
- Definitely a shorter email review period, very positive impact on collaboration.
- Negatively impacted our Spam Score workflow by having a convoluted test procedure.
- Positive impact on our email marketing overall, with the ability to confidently send complexly concocted content.
Deeper visibility has helped us confirm what we suspected and offered new insight into our email customers. Being able to determine what inboxes our recipients use is a huge value.
We've used Proof to streamline the approval process, by having all stakeholders in a central location with a solid visual representation of an email template is a huge time saver. Having a history of revisions and approvals produces a grand paper trail, for posterity.
Litmus beats the competition, not only for their stellar email tools but their unwavering support of the email community. I have been a part of the email development scene for a long time, and I have seen it blossom with the help of Litmus. I am brand loyal.
