Trusted tool and essential part of my email stack
Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Litmus is on my short list of must-have tools for email testing, QA and deployment.
I've been using it for the better part of decade at multiple organizations and have consistently found it to be a tremendous value-add, especially for small organizations.
I've found it equally as valuable for my own use (when I am the only person running email operations) as it is for when I am managing a email team/department.
I primarily use it for developing baseline templates to ensure that the starting point for all subsequent email content is a bullet-proof as possible.

Pros
- Email QA across major device/browser combinations
- Excellent tool for training junior team member on coding email templates
- Analytics are nice supplement for certain ESPs
Cons
- Would be nice to integrate with more ESPs (to push content directly to platform)
- Is a shame that automated analytics exports are now only available on enterprise plan
- UI can be a little temperamental (especially saving versions/when versions don't seem to be saved properly). This is constantly improving.
- Assurance on how emails will render for major email platforms (reduced time manually checking these).
- Pushing content directly from Litmus to ESP (when integration is available) avoid having to use multiple UIs.
- Analytics are not enough on their own, but can help supplement open rate metrics for certain ESP that have limited visibility (Mailchimp)
Yes, the main benefits I've seen are from testing.
Analysis features are nice to have, but not something I would consider a time-saver or replacement for core metrics I get directly from ESPs.

Mainly from helping to diagnose open rate issues and triangulate in on possible problems by adding either a) additional metrics I cannot get from ESPs directly, or b) an alternative measurement source to confirm what I'm seeing directly from ESP.
Not a feature I use much, since my teams have generally been small and don't require formal review process.
Considerably better testing capabilities than Mailchimp and sendgrid.
Considerably better email editor than Mailchimp.
Better metrics that Mailchimp.
Email on Acid is a strong competitor, but I find Litmus more well rounded.
