Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
We currently use it to map out business processes, customer experience and journeys, and internal procedures we use. It is a way for us to both identify and strategize on ways to improve the customer digital experience as well as support internal initiatives such as ERP implementation. We use it both within the product organization as well as across IT, Finance, and Engineering.
Pros
- Resizing swim lanes move the objects within
- Simple, intuitive interface
- Layering is done well
Cons
- Setting default sizing and colour of objects and text
- Intelligent selection of objects (vs selecting objects and swim lanes)
- Improved productivity - easier to use and discuss
- Improved accuracy - able to accurately map and review processes
It is easy to organize and find Lucidcharts when they are saved within Google Drive with the rest of my project files. The integration within Slack makes it easy to create a chart, share it, and discuss with a coworker on a call. I have not tried using the other integrations.
Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?
Yes
Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
Visio is pretty bad honestly, Lucidchart is much better in my opinion. I've also used InVision which is much easier to build with but lacks some of the more advanced functionality. I think the layering feature that LucidChart has is a key differentiator and helps it stand out against other products.
