Perhaps the Best All-Around Email Service
Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Our agency uses Mailchimp primarily on behalf of clients as a way to maintain contact with their customer email lists, whether that means sending out newsletters, product updates, sales emails, loyalty club emails, or more.
Pros
- The intuitive design user interface has a very short learning curve.
- It is easy to upload email lists and segment them by attributes.
- It offers metrics regarding email performance.
Cons
- It could offer more autonomy over design of emails.
- The same customer email address across multiple lists count multiple times, which may be potentially upping your monthly subscription fees.
- It doesn't distribute emails to multiple lists at the same time.
- I have seen double and triple-digit sales increases, particularly around key selling seasons.
ActiveCampaign provides more robust automation and email sequencing features than Mailchimp.
Our agency has not taken advantage of the other tools Mailchimp provides outside of their email services.
Email is still the #1 most effective marketing communication, and Mailchimp makes it super easy for our organization to quickly create and distribute engaging email content that moves our clients' sales needles or reaches other business objectives.
