Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use MailerLite for email marketing. It allows me to segment lists and retarget when needed. It's also the most cost-effective solution, so I recommend it to all of the small businesses that I consult for.

Nothing I can think of. They are a 'lite' suite of products. You get only what you really need.

Return on Investment

Low cost, so ROI is outstanding.
One client had a hiccup integrating MailerLite with their website, but customer service helped them resolve it quickly.

Alternatives Considered

Compared to products like Constant Contact, MailerLite is much more cost appropriate, and is easier to use. The only downside is that Constant Contact has some additional functionality for live events that MailerLite doesn't offer, like text to join, but unless you are speaking at or holding live events often the added cost for Constant Contact doesn't make sense for startups or small businesses.

Likelihood to Recommend

Best suited for users whose area of expertise is not email marketing (as in, someone whose job is not solely email marketing.) MailerLite gives you the information you need for effective email marketing, without having to spend a lot of time 'learning' what to do. Put in comparison, it's like going to a physical therapist when you are injured. You just do what they tell you to do, and you get better, but you don't have to take an anatomy class or have any of that knowledge in order to perform the exercises they give you and get results.
