Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
ManageEngine Endpoint Central is used by us to centralise patch management and remote support for the organisation. It also helps us clarify asset management and gives us another place where we can cross check assets. We also use the software to push out applications to the endpoints so that the helpdesk can quickly remotely install an application from the server. ManageEngine Endpoint Central is on a locally hosted virtual machine and is protected by a DMZ secure server that handles all traffic to and from the on-premise machine. We aim to go into the cloud next year as this will simplify our approach.

- Remote tools are OK but are overshadowed by Microsoft Powertoys
- Little use of AI in the product which is disappointing in todays age
- Our security posture is easy to see and act upon as you have a single place to look at all machines vulnerabilities. This helps us when it comes to security audits as we are able to demonstrate the value of the application.
- Remote support is inbuilt and easy to use as you can just hop onto any agented machine and control it directly without asking for codes or getting people to visit a specific website.
- We were able to mass install various applications to client machines over the years and the time and cost saved by not having to visit remote machines in different countries has proved invaluable.
We chose ManageEngine Endpoint Central primarily on cost and usability. The support from the account managers at ManageEngine Endpoint Central has also been fantastic. NinjaOne came out a lot more expensive and in terms of usability was not as well received by our Agents when we tested it out with them. I am not sure about the level of support from NinjaOne as we did not test this out in the evaluation.
