Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

Being used primarily by marketing, but also by sales and finance. We chose Marketo to strengthen our ability to segment and personalize our web experience, to upgrade our email marketing capabilities, and to improve our reporting. Our ability to clearly show marketing's position in the Sales funnel is a must.

Pros

  • We're new so the onboarding so far has been very good.
  • The capabilities of Marketo's nurturing programs is incredible.
  • The partners available in the Marketo ecosystem is almost overwhelming! It's hard to find a business problem that can't be solved by Marketo or one of the partners.

Cons

  • Honestly haven't been in the system long enough to find anything yet.
We've used Pardot for the last few years and we evaluated Eloqua before we selected Marketo. Pardot didn't have nearly the capabilities of Marketo. And poor support to help us accomplish our goals. Eloqua, on the other hand, has a lot of capabilities. But we preferred Marketo's integration roadmap, the way they approached nurture programs, reporting, and the overall experience we got in the Marketo platform.
Very well suited for complex B2B product marketing. From lead generation to cross-sell and upsell strategies, we've found an abundance of tools for us improve our marketing touches.
