Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Our Marketo instance allows us to push the limits of our creativity by giving us an opportunity to develop and test new solutions before presenting them to clients. Having a Marketo instance for these purposes allows our team to also test new modules and capabilities as they become available.
- Lead management. The combination of lead scoring, progressive profiling, and the revenue cycle model are powerful tools in ensuring that Sales teams get quality leads.
- UI/UX with Marketo Sky. Great UI compared to the original interface. Increased potential since the recent acquisition by Adobe.
- The native sync with Salesforce.
- Connector with Salesforce. Not possible to change the Salesforce instance synced to Marketo once connected. More could be done here, but unlikely with the recent acquisition.
- Not being able to write directly to the campaign member object in Salesforce.

We don’t use Marketo to send out emails/reporting/lead generation. It’s a sandbox used to validate solutions.
Marketo does a great job overall compared to the alternatives listed above.
